Questions about 555 circuit so I wühl me already since a few months through everything so there are electronics for Anfägner on the Internet and to craft even the one or the other (MOsfetkiller E shocker + cascade, small Transistoramps...) and try to understand how everything works, but I complete transparency I have, am so even beginners.

Now there is Yes the hv cable testing way with a 555 hacked DC voltage generate and this high then to transform. So I want to try something once, but I found in the Web so far not really unique information, and also this. was not much to see.

So I got to thinking time following circuit: Well, I have a few questions about it: 1. would this circuit work? As transistor would take a BD139 or a 2N3055 2. is the base resistor before the transistor ok? 3. read much the MOSFETs for such applications were better, if so why? 4. instead of the normal 555, there is still the various CMOS versions. What use is it and why and what would you recommend? (the CMOS versions should strompsarender be) 5 the frequency of the 555 in the circuit should be so ca 1.5khz according to my superior. To my knowledge, yes the voltage at the transformer output should not depend by the frequency, is there anyway that I should know about relationships?

So that's it now, thank you Schonmal in advance for the answer. As a guest, you can not edit, but the 1 k resistor in the circuit should be 50 k. MOSFETs are therefore used, because they need only a very small current to switch out. When a transistor, you must provide accordingly much power what is sometimes reflect problematic for a 555. with nem treiben transistor go but!
